97.9 WRMF’s Jason Pennington & Virginia Sinicki from the KVJ Show have created a Superhero Duo, Captain Crust and Princess Pepperoni, who have launched a give-back campaign called “The Power of Pizza”. It’s a grassroots effort to bring pizza to friends of The KVJ Nation to brighten their day. As Captain Crust says, “Anything is possible through the power of pizza!”
Earlier this week, the duo brought a stack of free pizzas to The Learning Center School in Royal Palm Beach, FL. The Learning Center School is a Public Charter School for students on the autism spectrum. The kids were delighted. The lunch hour was filled with love, hugs, and a mini concert put on for Captain Crust and Princess Pepperoni by the children of The Learning Center. It was truly a beautiful day.
In addition to visiting schools like this one, Captain Crust and Princess Pepperoni have also brought pizza to several local Children’s Hospitals and two local shelters for abused women.
